Rosa is a freelance journalist, screenwriter, writing coach, and comedian based out of Brooklyn, NY. She has written everything from entertainment news to satire and has written for Forbes (Under 30 and Hollywood and Entertainment), Gizmodo, The Kitchn, Healthline, Fodor’s, Laughspin, and others. She is primarily interested in writing about comedy, entertainment, education, LGBTQ+ representation/matters, history, food, and crime.
Her parents are both queer women, so she grew up in the San Francisco LGBTQ+ community in the 1990s. She has a degree in history and criminology from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, she is in the process of pitching her first novel and shot her first pilot in early 2022.
Her hobbies include trivia, both doing and writing crossword puzzles, event planning, cooking, and bowling. Some things she probably knows too much about are board games, film history, graphic novels, art history/museums, and TikTok.
