Prakruti is a journalist currently based out of New York, NY. She has previously worked in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Mumbai, India. She’s written for newspapers and magazines and her work has been featured in Hyperallergic, The Times of India, and the Mumbai Mirror. She’s interested in anything involving pop-culture, music, the arts, politics, and technology. She has an MA in Journalism (Arts & Culture) from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. When Prakruti is not being picky about selecting just the right songs for her monthly Spotify playlists, she’s looking for the next book or video game to immerse herself in. She also enjoys jumping into Reddit wormholes every now and then.
