Marie Richter is a journalist based in Munich who has a background in fact-checking and long-form storytelling. She has an MS in Journalism from Columbia University, where she focused on feature and investigative writing. She also holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied international relations, literature, and writing.
Her work unearthing and documenting her own family’s story has been featured in a Columbia volume of non-fiction short stories called “The Unraveling.”
Having grown up both in the US and Germany, Richter has a love for discovering new cultures and languages, as well as a strong interest in history, psychology, and mental health.
