Lingzi is a writer based out of San Jose, California. She has written daily news for newspapers and long-form profiles for magazines in China and Singapore. She writes in both Chinese and English. She writes about labor, immigration, women, and race.
Lingzi has been published in People Magazine (Beijing), Prime Magazine (Singapore), and San Francisco Chronicle.
Lingzi has moved around from China to Singapore to the United States. She was a singer at a music café in Singapore for five years. Now she hosts her own Chinese Podcast called “The Useless Tree.”
