Erika is a freelance writer and content creator based out of Calgary, Canada. Her work has been featured in magazines, blogs, websites, and newsletters. She’s also ghostwritten for various thought-leaders and has been widely published on websites and blogs spanning a wide range of industries. She’s interested in entrepreneurship, business, real estate, financial literacy, charitable/non-profit sector, parenthood, education, cybersecurity, and human resources.
It was while working in Alumni Relations for her alma mater, and relaying story after story of amazing alumni doing amazing things, that Erika realized how much she loves hearing, and subsequently sharing, stories. Love stories, happy stories, sad stories, career paths that deviate from the norm, unique family dynamics and traditions, exploring the similarities (and the differences) we all share. From cave drawings to newspapers to Tik Tok videos, storytelling is always evolving, and Erika feels grateful to be able to take part in this exciting period of 21st-century storytelling.
When she’s not writing she can be found snowshoeing (in the winter), camping in the Rocky Mountains (in the summer), eating poutine, apologizing needlessly, or watching Schitt’s Creek and Anne of Green Gables (yes, she’s very Canadian).
